“Walk the Test Way” to help your chosen charity on Sunday 24th September 2023

walk the test way 2023

The Rotary Club of Romsey Test once again brings you ‘Walk the Test Way’, helping charities to raise funds without having to run a large events themselves.

Launched in 2003, they’ve raised over £1.1M for charities. The annual event draws interest from many groups, e.g. scouts, schools, companies, etc, as well as smaller groups of families and individuals fundraising for their chosen charities whilst walking the Test Way.

The walk is suitable for all ages and abilities and you’re able to choose how many miles you wish to walk, such as:

  • 25.5 miles – St Mary Bourne
  • 16 miles – Wherwell
  • 11 miles – Stockbridge
  • 8 miles – Horsebridge
  • 5 miles – Mottisfont

Walkers are taken by private coach from Romsey to their starting location and end the walk at Romsey’s Memorial Park where there’ll be a warm finish-line welcome and a medal!

Outreach Radio will be broadcasting live from the finish line, and would like to have a chat/interview with participants in advance of the event to help promote the walk and their chosen charities. We’d also love to catch up with you again as you cross the finish line, and celebrate your wonderful efforts to help your chosen charity.
