Mike Joyce, AKA The Music Man, brings decades of DJ and broadcast experience to Outreach Radio, with a career rooted in live entertainment and a lifelong passion for classic music.
He first made his name at the legendary Southampton Ice Rink, where he became known for expertly programming classic tracks and high-energy skating anthems that defined an era. The experience laid the foundation for a professional career built on musical knowledge, timing, and an instinctive understanding of audiences.
Beyond the rink, he established himself as a respected mobile and club DJ, performing across clubs, pubs, hotels, social venues, public events, and private functions. Working under established industry professionals, he refined a polished, dependable style that earned repeat bookings and a strong reputation.
A specialist in 1960s and 1970s music, he now brings that expertise to the airwaves on Outreach Radio, hosting Super Retro Sundays, where timeless tracks and knowledgeable presentation combine to create a show designed for true music fans.
