Keith Venn brings decades of broadcasting experience to Outreach Radio’s Retro Sunday, serving up the greatest hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s every Sunday from 1pm to 3pm.

Keith’s radio career spans decades, from QA Hospital Radio to Skyline Gold, and today he combines his love of music with an engaging on-air style that celebrates nostalgia while keeping shows fresh and entertaining. His deep technical knowledge also ensures every show runs smoothly. Keith first experimented with AI back in 1999, giving him unique insight into how digital tools can support creative processes. While our station is proudly live and fully presenter-led, his expertise behind the scenes helps deliver shows of the highest quality.

A lifelong music enthusiast, Keith has performed both as a solo artist and as part of a duo, playing keyboard, bass and guitar, and even collaborating with legendary musicians, including a young Ralph McTell during his early Midlands days. His passion for music extends to original compositions, which are shared with fans worldwide.

When he’s not on air, Keith is a keen photographer and videographer, capturing experiences from travels across the globe, from Hawaii to Australia, the Caribbean and Mexico. These experiences inspire his on-air storytelling, helping him bring listeners into the music, the eras, and the cultures behind it, making Retro Sunday not just a show but an immersive musical journey.
