Sunday Service Live

Lockdown FM has begun working with churches across Chandler’s Ford to bring you weekly live broadcasts of Sunday services.

Our hope is to broadcast these services at 10am each Sunday, with a scheduled rotation from each participating church in our community.

Currently, we are scheduled as follows for the month of May:

Chris Fletcher (Southsea)

Chris is an independent singer-songwriter from Southsea, Portsmouth. His music is rooted in personal experience and honest storytelling, exploring the highs, lows, relationships and unexpected turns that shape our lives. He originally wrote poetry before being encouraged by his friend Ken Massey to turn his words into songs by humming to them as he wrote them.

His single “Rollercoaster of My Life” brings those experiences together in a song about strength, love and the journey that makes us who we are, with hopes that listeners can recognise something of their own lives in the song ; different words, same journey

Edward Naysmith (Romsey)

Edward Naysmith is guitarist, songwriter & composer, playing acoustic baritone guitar, accompanied by his singing. He has been writing since the age of 14, but seriously so when he attended University. After first hearing Richard Thompson’s music, he quietly dropped out of attending lectures, opting to spend the days playing and composing.

During 2020’s pandemic, he parted, on good terms, with the label he’d signed to the previous year. Since then, he’s set up his own studio in Romsey, taking full production and creative control of his output.

Released in July, the lead single from his debut album "Dreams Beneath the Broken Sky" is "The Dog That Fell in Love".

Hestia (Winchester / London)

In an era of growing musical inauthenticity, Hestia wants to remain as raw as possible. With a focus on a powerful live set, they want their audience to feel as if they’re in the room with them when listening to their music.

The band hails from Winchester and aims to pay homage to their favourite music, 70’s rock, whilst breathing a new alternative air into the genre. Now in London, they remain as focused as ever; achieving recent success at TruckFest 2026, their Isles of Scilly tour and raising over £1500 for Warchild at HotVox’s Rising competition.

Sam Sheasby (Isle of Wight)

After several years living in Bangkok, Sam Sheasby is back on the South Coast of the UK with his debut album,
Nothing Means Anything, released September 2026.

He writes about things he probably shouldn’t, people he probably shouldn’t, and places he can’t seem to leave behind.

The rest is in the songs.

"Midnight Lotus" is a slick, atmospheric Alt-Pop track capturing the intoxicating yet fleeting nature of a complex romance. Half-written in Bangkok, the song explores an intense connection with a woman caught between deep affection and conflicting life paths. Set against a backdrop of stolen moments in hotel beds where the outside world faded away, the track dives into the bittersweet reality of caring deeply for someone while knowing the relationship has a strict expiration date.
