As part of Outreach Radio’s “Truly Local” approach to radio broadcasting, we are strongly committed to promoting local artists and musicians on the radio. From our daytime rotation of local artists across our weekly playlists to our After 8 at The Loft live sessions, Outreach Radio provides a platform for local talent to be heard.

After 8 at The Loft with Outreach Radio is our live music series dedicated to showcasing some of Hampshire’s finest original artists and bands.

Hosted by Charlotte Neal, the series gives musicians a professional platform to perform their original music, share the stories behind their songs, and connect with thousands of listeners across our radio station and digital platforms.

Designed for both solo and acoustic artists as well as full bands, the series offers two distinct live performance experiences. After 8 at The Loft, Unplugged provides an intimate studio setting for acoustic performances, combining live performances with interviews and conversation every Thursday, while After 8 at The Loft Live Performance gives bands the opportunity to perform in our live venue environment alongside interviews and artist features monthly. Although each format offers its own unique experience, both are built around the same goal, celebrating original music and giving artists a platform to be heard, while also celebrating the wider music community through special features and conversations that will evolve throughout the series.

There’s much more to the series than a live performance. Every session has been carefully designed to offer something different, with exclusive opportunities, unique experiences, and exciting elements that will be revealed as the series continues. We’re passionate about creating an experience that goes far beyond a traditional live music session while keeping a few surprises for both our artists and our audience along the way.
