Steve Ridout

Steve was born in Southampton and has lived almost all his life in Hampshire.

He began buying records at the age of 10 and has not stopped since. Later he began going to gigs and festivals, and some all-time live favourites include New Order, Blur, Pulp, Stereolab, the Manic Street Preachers, the Divine Comedy, and, best of all, Saint Etienne.

Steve is always listening out for new music, and you can hear a selection of recent alternative releases along with indie classics throughout his radio shows.
